--- name: spec-requirements-register description: Read a project specification (technical specs, "especificaciones técnicas", pliego) and build the registers the site team actually works from - submittals required, tests and inspections, mock-ups, warranties, certificates, O&M deliverables and hold points - each with the clause reference, responsible trade and when it is due. Use when a project starts, a spec book arrives, the user asks "what do the specs require us to submit", builds a submittal log, an inspection and test plan (ITP) or a closeout checklist. --- # Specification requirements register ## Inputs - The specification (PDF/Word text), ideally with section numbers (MasterFormat, NRM, or the project's own). - The schedule or project phases, if available, to set due dates. ## Procedure 1. Work section by section. For each, extract requirements that create a deliverable or an event: - Submittals (product data, shop drawings, samples, calculations, qualifications). - Tests and inspections (who tests, standard, frequency), hold and witness points. - Mock-ups and pre-installation meetings. - Warranties (duration, start, scope) and certificates. - Closeout and O&M items (manuals, spare parts, training, as-builts). 2. One row per item: section · clause · type · description (quoted, short) · responsible trade (if stated; else "to assign") · timing trigger (e.g. "before fabrication", "30 days before installation") · due date if the schedule allows. 3. Flag conflicts and gaps: two sections asking different things for the same item; references to standards without edition; items with no responsible party. 4. Produce three views: submittal register (feeds Procore/ACC/Forma or a spreadsheet), ITP / inspection list, closeout checklist. ## Output - The three registers as tables (CSV on request), the conflict list, and counts per type and trade. ## Never - Never summarise away a requirement; when in doubt include it and mark "check". - Never invent the standard edition, test frequency or warranty length; quote or mark missing.
