--- name: takt-planning description: Build a takt plan for repetitive work (finishes, MEP rough-in, structure floor by floor) - zones by work content, takt time, crews needed per trade, the takt train matrix, buffers, finish date on the project calendar and a flowline chart; then compare scenarios (takt, zones, crews). Use when the user mentions takt, "tren de actividades", "sectorización", line of balance, location-based scheduling, flowline, or wants to see if a finishing phase fits the target date. --- # Takt planning ## Inputs - Zones (floors, halves of floors, apartments...) and the work content per trade per zone: quantities from the budget, the model (`ifc-quantity-takeoff`) or the drawings. - Trades in sequence with the user's productivity (units per crew per working day) and available crews. If a productivity is missing, ask; the script refuses to guess. - Start date, working days per week, holidays; target finish date. ## Procedure 1. Draw zones by work content, not by area: compare quantities per trade across zones; aim for an imbalance under about 20%. 2. Write `work.csv` (`zone, trade, quantity`) and `trades.csv` (`trade,order,productivity,crews,unit,buffer_after`). 3. Run without `--takt` to see the takt the current crews allow: `python scripts/takt_plan.py --work work.csv --trades trades.csv --start 2026-11-02 --workdays 6`. 4. Run with the takt the team wants (`--takt 5`) and read "crews needed": that is the resource conversation with each trade. 5. Add buffers (`buffer_after`) only where the risk is real (inspections, curing, long-lead deliveries) and say why. 6. Compare 2-3 scenarios (takt, zone count, crews) in a small table: finish date, peak crews, risk. 7. Hand over: the takt train CSV for the site board, the flowline, and the control rules: a daily takt check per zone, and what happens when a wagon is late (help it, not skip it). ## Output - `takt.md` (durations, crews, imbalance, train with dates), `takt_train.csv`, `flowline.png`, scenario table. ## Never - Never invent productivity rates or crew availability. - Never publish a takt plan whose wagons do not fit the takt without the warning and the crews-needed column. - Never present it as agreed: the trade foremen confirm their wagon (see `pull-planning-session`).
